Project Description:
The Route of this phase extends from El -Attaba to Rod El -Farag corridor , passing
through Al -Kit Kaat up to Cairo Unversity station of line 2 with a total length of 18
Km , it comprises 15 stations , this phase will be excuted as follows:
This part extends from Al -Kit Kat to Cairo university , passing t hrough Al -
Mohandseen and Bolak El -Dakror areas with a total length of 7.2 Km . This part
comproses (5) stations ( 3 tunnels stations , one elevated station and one a surface
station),
this station will be ( Al -Tawfikya - Wadi El -Nile - Gamaet Al -Dowal - Bolak Al -
Dakror - Cairo University )

Project Description :
Naga Hammadi Dam, located 150 kilometers north of Luxor, is designed to
rep lace an existing dam built early in the 20th century and provide irrigation
to the Nile River Valley, regulate the flow of the river, and generate electrical
power. This concrete gravity dam features two locks for river navigation and
produces 64 megawatt s of electricity thanks to four 16 -megawatt turbines. To
build Naga Hammadi, the Nile River had to be diverted for three years, and a
of 400,000 cubic meters of concrete was used at a monthly pace peaking at
30,000 cubic meters. total

Project Description:
East of Cairo, in a district where houses sit side by side with monuments from
the Fatimid era, thoroughfares are a rarity. The main one, on which the
famous Al Azhar Mosque is located, is always congested. Traffic is so dense
here that a fence was installed to prevent pedestrians from crossing the street.
In light of this reality, Egyptian authorities decided to heighten their ef forts to
renovate ancient sites. But only the development of an underground roadway
could restore this district’s unity. This infrastructure is part of a set of projects
of national importance. To ensure maximum safety for users, access is
prohibited to tr ucks. The design of the underground roadway was based on
existing recommendations and directives for lightweight vehicle infrastructure.
The tragedy that occurred in the Mont -Blanc tunnel in France compelled the
designers to exercise extreme caution. As a result, the project was modified in
many ways in order to create an optimally safe transport structure.
Recommendations emphasised the need to increase the number of exits
